The school’s houses are having a debate against each other and my house Winchester needs to talk about how pineapple should be banned from pizzas… here’s the paragraph I wrote and hope a speaker will include:

Pineapple on Pizza is not only a bad choice of taste, but also a potentially catastrophic topic. The effects of it is everywhere! While we may not see any world wars break out because of it… yet, we see it’s impact in bringing disunity and fights. At first people start it off as a friendly argument, but then it gradually becomes more and more hostile in discussions among friends, until one says something they regret (or don’t if they’re so into the topic) and the friendships get damaged, occasionally permamently! It is probably safer if for the sake of unity and safety, we should ban putting pineapple on pizza, like we did to guns. Similar to what we’ve done in banning guns, of course there will be some people creating a ruckus about their rights being removed, but when you look at all the harm that this topic has and continues to cause, you start to understand that. (say this if the debate is heated): Look already how heated this debate has become! Now, you may be thinking: “But (name)! Once we ban pineapple on pizza, we’ll keep banning other things until eventually we eat flatbread with cheese on it only”. No, that’s not true! We’re only banning pineapple, because humans have failed to show responsibility in handling this issue; humans have done a better job in handling the other toppings. In conclusion, due to the widespread controversy and harm of this topic, pineapple should be banned from pizza for the wellbeing of people

My personal opinion is that pineapple doesn’t really belong on pizza, but I don’t care too much if you put it on. I’ll still eat it with the pizza. I used to be a fanatic supporter, though…
